Murder Mystery Events.
In partnership with the brilliant, and longest established theatre company in the West of England, Cornwall, “Murder by Appointment”, we deliver exciting evenings of mystery and intrigue.
Arrive to the evening ready to be immersed in the scene. Between courses watch as the plot unfolds in-front of you, uncover the characters relationships with each other, and listen closely for secrets and clues. During the evening you will be able to question the characters, to try and uncover the mystery! There is a prize for the winner.

Winter 2024 - Saturday 9th March
Plot Theme
“Murder leads to Murder.” Set 1965.
Plot: The year is 1965, and a 25th anniversary weekend has been planned to celebrate the occupancy of the hotel by RAF personnel during the war years from 1940 - 1946. Nearly all the guests booked in have war-time connections with the hotel and coastal command, but there is one guest who clearly has interest elsewhere…
Who is the stranger with no RAF connections, who is greatly interested in asking questions in connection with the murder at the hotel in October 1943, of a WAAF Corporal. Why is he so interested in checking details connected to the murder, and what is his special interest in the missing summerhouse? Just exactly who is he and what is he seeking?

Plot Theme
The 1940's Diamond Heist - set in 1944.
Plot: Following a fundraising evening in the Savoy, the famous and extremely wealthy Lady Dunster is staying overnight at the hotel. Lady Dunster attended the fundraising evening exhibiting her diamond necklace, 'The Kimberley Star', reputedly the most valuable necklace in the world. The necklace is being kept in the hotel safe overnight, and staying at the hotel guarding the necklace is a Police Inspector from Scotland Yard. But several others present have taken a great interest in the necklace, and even the notorious 'Phantom' could well be in attendance. Is everyone who they purport to be? Watch as the intriguing plot unfolds and it becomes clear that the diamond is being targeted!!
