Fallowfields Restaurant Awarded 3AA Rosettes | News
On Tuesday this week we were invited to the AA Rosette Awards evening in London, at RAK Ceramics, to celebrate restaurants who have been awarded 3AA rosettes and above this spring.
We are so excited to share the amazing news that Fallowfields has been awarded 3 AA Rosettes for culinary excellence by AA Hospitality.
It’s a big moment for us to be recognised for this award and we are so proud of all our team, led by our Head Chef Joseph Fallowfield, for their hard work and dedication. We are now one of only five restaurants in Cornwall with this award!
Thank you to you our wonderful guests for your continued support. We have welcomed our new ‘Early Spring’ tasting menu in the restaurant, so we hope you to see you soon to experience this new menu, and to celebrate the award together..
Learn more about AA rosettes.
AA Hotel and Hospitality Services has a long established Rosette scheme celebrating successful cooking at different levels across the UK. AA inspectors work across the country, and make surprise visits to hotels and restaurants, in order to assess the quality of food and service. After this surprise visit, the AA inspector determines whether a Rosette is awarded.
What does 3 AA Rosettes mean.
3AA rosettes is described by the AA as ‘outstanding restaurants that achieve standards that demand recognition well beyond their local area. The cooking is underpinned by the selection and sympathetic treatment of the highest quality ingredients. Timing, seasoning and the judgment of flavour combinations will be consistently excellent. These virtues tend to be supported by other elements, such as intuitive service and a well-chosen wine list. Around 10% of the restaurants/hotels within the AA Restaurant Guide have three Rosettes and above.”
