Guests may arrive early and are welcome to use the hotel’s facilities, but check-in is not until 16.00. On your day of departure, please vacate your room by 11.00.

Parking
Free parking is provided for one car per room. Vehicle registration details will be taken at Check-in. All cars are parked at owners’ risk.
We have a EV charge point which is available for our guests to use, which works on any electrical vehicle that has a Type 2 Connector, and is 7.5Kw. The flat rate to charge is £20.

Children
Housel Bay is not a strictly ‘grown-ups only’ hotel, but children are expected to behave respectfully in order to maintain an environment of tranquility. Please note, children are only allowed to stay in our Family Rooms. Maintenance & Improvements
It may be necessary for maintenance, development or refurbishment work to take place during your visit. We will endeavour to keep any noise and inconvenience to a minimum. Any such work happening during your stay does not constitute a reason for cancellation and standard cancellation terms will apply.
Booking Terms
All prices are per room based on two people sharing. There is a £25 per night discount for single occupancy across all of our room types in the low and mid season period. This single person discount is not available in the high season.

VAT
VAT is included at the current rate of 20%. If VAT rises or falls after you have made a deposit payment on your stay, the balance of your charge will be increased or decreased to reflect the changed rate of VAT.
Booking Agreement
We promise never to overbook our accommodation; once your deposit has been paid we guarantee the room type for you. We cannot promise to allocate specific rooms within a room type.
Payment
A deposit of 20% of the value of your stay is required to confirm every booking. Payment for the balance of your stay is due 5 days before arrival. We can no longer accept cash or cheques. For non-refundable bookings, the full price of your stay is due when the booking is made.

B&B - room and breakfast in The Terrace, unless you have booked one of our dinner B & B special offer packages.
We can no longer accept any cash payments at Reception. On arrival we reserve the right to make a pre-authorisation of £25.00 against the credit or debit card you intend to use to settle any additional charges that may be incurred during your stay with us. The pre-authorisation will be cancelled on your departure.

Cancellation Terms - Rooms
If you cancel your stay with more than 5 days notice, your deposit is non-refundable. However, your deposit can be used for a future stay booked within the next 12 months subject to availability and price increases. If you cancel your stay with less than 5 days notice, your whole booking is non-refundable and non-transferable. For non-refundable bookings, your stay in non-refundable and non-transferable. Our non-refundable rate is not available to combine with our direct offers.
All restaurant bookings have a 24 hour cancellation policy. A charge of £10 per head will be made for any no shows, or cancellations made with less than the required notice period.

Refunds
Refunds cannot be made for rooms that are not occupied for the full period that has been booked. If, due to exceptional circumstances, we are forced to cut short your stay, we will reimburse you in full for nights not taken and make all reasonable efforts to find you alternative accommodation. We cannot be held responsible for any additional costs incurred by you as a result.
