Finalist in the Cornwall Tourism Awards | Small Hotel of the Year & Restaurant of the Year

We are so delighted to be a finalist for Small Hotel of the Year and Restaurant of the Year 2024/5 by Cornwall Tourism Awards! We are feeling very proud of our amazing team for this achievement, and congratulations to all the finalists! Last year we were delighted to received the Silver Award for Restaurant of the Year for Fallowfields, which was a huge achievement for us. So we are extra thrilled to be a finalist again this year. • What are the Cornwall Tourism Awards?

  The Cornwall Tourism Awards is a competition that happens every year, and is now entering its 22nd year which is amazing! It aims to continually evolve every year, changing categories and upgrading criteria, as they reflect on the constant innovation and reinvention across the industry. 

• How do you enter & what do the rounds look like?

  Judging is actually carried out by an independent panel of a mixture of past winners, industry leaders, and experts in their field.

  The first initial round of judging is always based on the information provided, with questions ranging from ‘how have you improved and developed your customer experience’, ‘recent successes’ and ‘future plans for development’, along side with establishment’s online presence and reviews.
  Judges also look at the competitor’s website and social media accounts. The best hotels and restaurants from this round are then visited by mystery shoppers for further judgements.

• What will the final look like?

  Awards for Bronze, Silver and Gold, will be presented in Truro Cathedral on 7th November 2024. Take a look at all the finalists here.
