Yoga at Housel Bay

As you may know, we have a brand new space here at Housel Bay called the ‘Studio.’ A designated area for a moment of peace and calm. To stretch, to meditate and re-connect with yourself.

Whether you’re staying with us at Housel Bay, or local to the Lizard, join us for our weekly yoga class with our new teacher Becky. Keep reading to get to know our new teacher Becky and to get an insight into her beautiful classes.

How long have you been teaching yoga?

‘I have been offering yoga classes in the area for five years, having qualified in Vinyasa yoga in 2016. Since then I have undertaken further trainings in Yin and children’s yoga. This allows me to offer balanced classes, with aspects of both challenge and relaxation.’

What inspires you?

‘I am greatly inspired by the rugged landscape of the Lizard and the wider Cornish coast, aiming to immerse myself daily. This weaves gently into my teaching, which also incorporates aspects of yogic philosophy and life musings.’

What can people expect in your classes?

‘You can expect to flow through a creative sequence of yoga asana, paired with a gentle and inspiring playlist. My intention is for you to leave my class energised but relaxed; to have formed a connection with your inner landscape, and to set you up to gain nourishment from the beautiful landscape that surrounds us on the Lizard peninsular.’

Classes are every Wednesday, 18.30 - 19.30. This is a gentle Vinyasa flow class, which welcomes all levels of yoga. A perfect way to wind down, reset and refocus midweek.

Classes are £10 per person, and must be booked in advance. Simply call or email us.
