What we’ve been up to over lockdown.

During this third lockdown, which has felt particularly tough, we have been working on some new and exciting projects behind the scenes. From building renovations, creating new spaces and launching a new Housel Bay shop..

Introducing ‘The Studio’.

Being by the coast brings to many a much needed head space getaway. Partnering this with our ‘Yoga & Wellness’ weekends, where we believe taking that extra time to focus within through postures, breathing and meditation, increasingly makes the body, mind and spirit feel healthier. We wanted to create a space where our guests could practice yoga and meditation during their stay with us. We are hoping to host more regular classes at our new Studio, as well as during our Yoga & Wellness weekends.

New modern bathrooms.

As we know many of our bathrooms haven’t been renovated since the 1980s! We have slowly been rolling out a refurb across all of the traditional rooms. This lockdown has made time for us to start on some of the bathrooms in our Panoramic View rooms, with a new modern design. We can’t wait to show you them when we reopen.

Housel Shop.

Our love for our natural surroundings and local heritage, inspires everything we do here at Housel Bay. We are lucky to have an abundance of delicious produce and local independants at the Lizard. You can now buy some of our homemade treats to enjoy at home, such as our Housel Granola. Or welcome in a taste of some of the top quality local independents from the Lizard, such as our local ‘Cornish Honey’.
