About Trencherman’s Guide.

Trencherman’s Guide was launched in 1993 with its focus on the best dining experiences in the South West. Rick Stein describes Trencherman’s as ‘a guide with teeth’ - as there is strict criteria for restaurants to meet to be able to be included in the guide. You are invited to join the Trencherman’s Guide based on reaching certain points (based on Good Food Guide, AA and Michelin ratings), or you are visited by an experienced food writer from the Trencherman’s team who have a long list of criteria.
