House Of Dragon at Kynance Cove!

HBO’s latest series “House of Dragon” is based on the George R R Martin novel “Fire and Blood” from his book series, “A song of ice and fire”which follows the reign of House Targaryen, a prequel to the massively popular “Game of Thrones” series.

“House of Dragon” aired this August and some keen eyed viewers may have noticed some rather familiar location shots… The most obvious being Kynance cove! or should we say the “Stepstones” of Westeros as the show renames it!

We discovered back in September 2021, during our walking route from Housel Bay, that something mysterious was happening here in the Lizard, though those working kept rather closed mouthed about the project. We however had our suspicions, as we later saw on our screens the Lizard being turned into a rather more mythical place.

The scene stared Matt Smith, who you may have seen as the 11th Doctor or the Duke of Edinburgh in The Crown. Keep your eyes peeled as more of Cornwall is set to be turned into the magical world of Westeros!
