South West Coastal Path Passport is here!
Have you heard about the South West Coastal Path Passport?
The SWCP Passport was introduced for walkers of the coast path to record their journey, as well as to encourage people to explore all that the path has to offer. It was inspired by the world iconic ‘Camino de Santiago' Pilgrim Trail in Northern Spain, where pilgrims collect stamps along their walk to Santiago de Compostela.
Here are 3 reasons why we love the new SWCP Passport:
The Passport is a great way to connect with Way Makers (like us), who will be ready to welcome you to get your Passport stamped. You can also receive great hospitality along the way!
Create a long lasting souvenir of your journey along England’s longest National Trail, with beautiful hand-crafted stamps.
Help support the SWCP charity, which cares for the beautiful path.
Passport Stamp Points.
There are over a 100 passport stamp points along the 630 mile coastal path. Find out the stamping points for West Cornwall here.
The Stamps.
There are seven stamp designs, which have been beautifully designed. The designs are inspired by the heritage, history and nature of the area. They are definitely worth collecting in our opinion! Each stamp has been handcrafted by Marc Hoskin of Wild Work.
Where to buy.
You can purchase your Passport via the SWCP website here. By purchasing a Passport you will also be supporting the SWCP Charity, which looks after the best-loved national trail.
We can’t wait to meet you walkers this summer who are visiting us for their stamp at Housel Bay! Our garden gate opens directly onto the South West Coastal Path, so just head from the path, and wonder straight into our garden. You can join us for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. See our summer menus, and book your table here.
Please let us know how you have been finding the Passport experience, and tag us at @houselbay in your photos.
